Edwin W Sallenbach Jr. born Aug 21,1942 to the late Edwin Sr and Mildred Sallenbach. Dear Father of Dave (Lisa) Sallenbach; Loving Grandfather of Alisha (Josh) Schnur and Spencer Sallenbach; Great Grandfather of Austyn, Alivia and Jaxon Schnur. Ed graduated from Affton High School. Ed worked and retired from St. Louis County Government where he was a Building Inspector. Ed also was a St. Louis County Police Officer in his younger years. In Ed’s free time he enjoyed golf, family and friends. He will forever be remembered.
Ed was a great guy to work with at Lakeshire. He will be missed. Dave, please email me with your Dad’s date of death and where he died. Will there be a memorial service, if not I understand with the COVID situation.
He was proud of you and your professional accomplishments.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ed several years ago at Lakeshire. He was the building inspector for the properties I managed. I remember his kindness and caring that was always uplifting. He would bring a smile to my face with a joke and his crooked smile. Always a gentleman I proudly consider him as a friend. Ed had a knowledge of his work like no other. He taught me the way things had to be and why they had to be that way. Ed was truly a treasure and has left many fond memmories I will never forget. Ed was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Thank you Ed for being who you were and everytime something brings you to mind it will surely bring a smile to my face.
