I went to St. Gabriel the Archangel grade school with Genie. She was a great story teller.
I remember walking home with her after school just to hear her stories.
We also were in the same class at Fontbonne . I remember how she used
to talk about Joe all the time. My condolences to the family.
Dear Colonna family,
I was so saddened to hear of Genie’s passing. I worked with her at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy from 1985 until she retired. I always loved hearing her stories and learning from about her travels.
My deepest condolence to all.
I do believe that Genie was the finest woman I ever knew. She was kind and patient and compassionate and generous to a fault. She was hard working and creative and interested in everything. What a lucky family to have had her as their wife and mother!
Genie and Joe were so active in Oasis leading tours downtown and with Road Scholar taking the grandkids on learning trips. Not ones to just sit around. Was a pleasure to know Genie
