Eve Louise Hurd

Eve Louise Hurd

Born November 13, 1961 in St. Louis to the union of Carl and Lucille Hurd.

Both parents and five siblings, Anthony, Theodore, Penny, George and Carlos preceded her in death.

Eve was educated in the St. Louis Public School System.

Eve confessed her life in Christ at an early age.  She would often say, “God got me” whenever anyone would worry or be concerned about her.

Eve will be remembered for being a loving and devoted Aunt.  All her nieces and nephews have great memories of the times spend together.  All thought they were her favorite.

Eve departed her life January 8, 2020 surrounded by family.  She leaves to cherish her loving memories, three brothers and four sisters Arthur, Jacquline, Carolyn, Gale, Johnny (Leona), Charles (Tammy), Angeline, eighteen nephews, sixteen nieces , three aunts, two uncles and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Love is

Love is everything that you are, fun, caring, loyal, nurturing

Whether you were near or far.

As an Aunt you showed us all, how to love unconditionally,

Even through your downfall.

The many trips and talks in your car were valuable and taught me to reach for the stars.

No matter what anyone may say, you showed me nothing but true love and that will never go away.

No regrets, only one wish, the love you gave me I wish my children could have seen,

Then they would know what you were and still are my everything.

You were the first friend I had when I moved to the city, in the late ‘80’s…you made working at K-Mart fun… over the years I googled your name and searched facebook…then to see your face when I was looking for my husbands co workers obituary

    Rest In Peace friend
