FRAN GAMBINO
70 Years young and sassy
“You saw who you created me to be before I became me
Before I’d ever seen the light of day,
the number of days you planned for me
were already recorded in your book.”
Psalm 139:16
Fran is loved and missed by her sister, brother-in-law, son, nephew, nieces, great-nephews, one of her cats and close friends. Fran loved Jesus, entering heaven on October 10, 2021 to be reunited with her two babies, her parents, aunts, and two men whom she loved dearly.
Fran was known as Frannie to her close family and friends. She was always curious, asking questions, wanting to understand, leading to a Masters Degree in Counseling. She helped many marriages, families, children and military personnel, particularly those suffering from grief and PTSD. As an artist who studied many forms of art, her passion was art therapy. Fran created beautiful pottery, papers, jewelry, paintings, drawings, macrame’ and more. Eventually, she counseled as a Christian Counselor, directing hurting people to their ultimate healing in Christ.
Fran loved her nieces, nephews and grand-nephews, cats, plants, music, singing, dancing, books, sitting at 370 Lakeside Park with friends and family, and studying God’s Word in the Bible. Fran’s heart was sometimes troubled with anxiety, and although she had physical limitations, she was generous and enjoyed helping others. She brought food and clothing plus gave financially to her favorite homeless ministry. Fran was a volunteer as a foster grandparent, loving on babies and toddlers at a local daycare.
A memorial bench will be dedicated at 370 Lakeside Park in Spring, 2022. The date will be published at a later time. For those wishing to honor her memory, a donation to a homeless ministry or food bank would be appreciated.
What a wonderful life Fran lived, and touched many.
