Frances S. Yost (nee Patterson) 75 of Valley Park, MO passed away on July 12,  at her home with her loving children by her side after a long battle with congestive heart failure.  She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents Nadine and Clyde Patterson.  She is survived by her two children, Amy Winker (Joe) of Ballwin, MO and Michael Yost (Melissa) of Arnold, MO; grandchildren Trey Hansel, Conrad Hansel, Andrew Hansel, Megan Yost-Keough (Jon) and Matthew Yost; bonus grandchildren, Jessica Winker, Nicole Winker, and Joe Winker, Jr,; siblings Nancy Godwin (Pat), Patricia Cusack (Kevin ), Joyce Patterson, and Rick Patterson; nephews Ethan Cusack, Kyle Cusack, and Will Cusack.  

The highlight of Fran’s life was spending time with her children and her luvbugs (grandchildren). She loved to watch and cheer her luvbugs on when they were playing sports and anytime she was able to spend time with them. When not spending time with her family, she loved to watch Alabama football and NASCAR races.  

She will be dearly missed by all.  A Celebration of Life will be held on 8/19/2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Amy and Joe’s residence.  Please celebrate Fran by wearing Alabama or NASCAR apparel on 8/19.
