Francis “Frank” Patrick Ludwig
Francis Patrick Ludwig, 71, of the City of St. Louis passed away late afternoon on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025. Francis passed away peacefully in his sleep, remaining proud of his Irish and German roots. He departed this life and will joyfully meet his mother, Loretta Ludwig, father, Richard Ludwig, and brother, Tommy Ludwig at the gates of heaven. Francis leaves behind his twin children, Robert Ludwig (Jennifer) and Tina Ross (Charles). Beloved grandfather of Joseph Ross (Demmi), Victoria Ross, Brendan Ludwig, Lorali Ross, and Matthew Ludwig. Beloved great-grandfather of Charles Ross III. Beloved brother of Richard Ludwig (Kathleen), Mary Carter (Greg), and Theresa Walsh (Tom). Beloved uncle of Michelle Endsley (Sean), and Meghan Walsh. Beloved great-uncle to Phoebe Endsley. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
A Memorial Service for Francis will be held at St. Louis Cremation 2135 Chouteau Ave. St. Louis MO, 63103 on February 15, from 11AM until 2PM

I am sad Frankie is gone. He was a complex human being and
he tried to live the life he knew best, for himself, and capable of.
His family understood that. His family loved him.
His family understood his struggles, yet he carried on – in his own way.
He didn’t ask much, and didn’t complain much in his last years.
He understood what was what. My hope is that he is at peace now, happy
and reunited with his loved ones.
