Fred Helmering
Fred Helmering passed away on May 2, 2024.
He was a loving father to Chris (Tammy) Helmering and Susan Helmering Tatino, dear grandpa of 8 and great grandpa of 7, a dear brother, cousin and a friend of many.
Fred was a great ball player, bowler and golfer. He stayed very active, and lived his 85 years of life to the fullest.
Rest in peace, grandpa. You will be missed by so many. I will carry your memory with me always. Love you.
Thanks for always making golf at St Ann fun and interesting. You still get your strokes on 3,4 and 6 up there. Rest in peace.
Fred was an inspiration. I hope I can play golf as long as he did. Hit em’ straight Freddie boy!
I knew Fred from Ban Johnson summer baseball league in 1959-60. He was a really good pitcher ( left handed I believe) but more importantly he was a wonderful guy. He was very funny and quick to laugh . I have only fond memories of Fred and our two summers spent together. Rest peaceful. Robert Fisher
