A big hole has been left in so many hearts and lives that Gene touched! He will be forever missed not only for his family, but everyone that came in contact with him. He was a kind loving man to Karen and an awesome Dad to Kim, Gerald, and Katie. There’s nothing he wouldn’t of done for any of them. When you seen him look at Karen, you could see how much love he had for her. It truly was something one doesn’t see a lot of these days in couples, and she looked at him the same way. Our hearts are broken and heavy in losing him, but we know one day we will see him again. For now we can only imagine the reunion he had with his parents, Edna and Maleta and the so many others that have went before him. God truly took one of the best men to ever walk this earth. My prayers for comfort and peace for all of you in the days ahead. Much love to all of you

    Marcella

Gene was such a beautiful soul. I look back to the memories I have of him & there isn’t many I don’t picture him with that big smile on his face. He was always so kind to me. He will be deeply missed. Prayers & love to the family.

I waited on Gene and Karen for several years and became close to the entire Nash family over the years. When they came in Gene always had a smile and a even though he didn’t speak much, there was no need. You could always see the appreciation and kindness in his eyes and smile. I will miss seeing that smile and waiting on him. Prayers to Karen and the entire family.

I was fortunate enough to know Gene for over 30 years. He always treated me like family. You were lucky if you knew him, because I’m sure he treated you the same way. Always encouraging, proud of your successes, and supportive during your defeats. He was a fantastic role model, great with kids, and his laugh was contagious. If you were ever fortunate enough to do something nice for him, he would never let you forget how my he appreciated you. My heart goes out to Karen and the family. He’s presents cannot be replaced.
