Geraldine Dierks Mehlberg
Geraldine Dierks Mehlberg (nee Carver) passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Dierks, husband Leroy Dierks, and second husband Harold Mehlberg. Beloved mother of Ray Dierks, Cyndi (Paul) Grant, Jacki (Daniel) Scott, and Ken (Leon Pollard, d.) Dierks, and cherished Gran of Nik (Megan) Degler, Cathie Degler, Christina Scott, James Scott, Paul Grant, Charlie Grant, Great Gran of Johnathan McClain, and treasured aunt of Lynn Rodriguez. Dear cousin, aunt, and friend of many.
Memorial service Saturday, January 26, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at St. Catherine Retirement Community, 3350 St. Catherine Street, Florissant, MO 63033.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Stroke Association.
I will miss you Mom
I remember her telling me when I was 11 years old, that she wanted 12 children but God blessed her with five children. She asked me if she could share me with my mother and if I would be her daughter too. She had a way of making every child feel special instead of the “seen and not heard” mentality. She aways was and will always be my favorite Aunt. She is the blue print of what every Aunt ought to be and I have done my best to be like her. I believe with all my heart that she is in Heaven With Uncle Box and Jesus and that she is at this moment happier then she has ever been.
