Glen E. Jones
The family of Glen E. Jones of St. Louis Missouri is saddened to announce his passing on January 17, 2025, at the age of 93 years old. Glen was born May 19, 1931 in Chandler, Oklahoma. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 74 years, Loretta Jones (nee: Letsch), children: Kerry (Boni) Jones, Steve (Kathy) Jones, Cheryl (Steve) Shuler, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
Glen served 4 years in the Air Force. In 1956, he graduated from the University of Arkansas of Fayetteville with a degree in engineering. Glen worked for Pet Milk Company for 35 years and retired in 1991.
Glen was very talented. He completed an addition on their home, built decks and many other projects. He loved camping and traveling with Loretta. Their favorite adventure was driving and camping in Alaska with his brother and sister-in-law – Charles and Elaine.

My Uncle Glen (my dad’s brother) was a great family man. Dad and he were close, as were my Mom and Loretta. Their trip to Alaska together in their RV’s was an epic adventure. Dad and Glenn slept under the stars, when their family first moved to Arkansas while their Dad was building a house. From humble beginnings, they both became college graduates, built careers and raised families. Glen was a gracious and fun Uncle to me and my four siblings. We will miss him.
