So thankful that my first cousin Glenda made it to Omaha for a family reunion. I had not gotten to see her since she and her mom, my Aunt Delva, moved to Oregon. She was such an active, high energy little girl that our Uncle Rolla (“Rollie” Adams), one of her mom’s brothers, nicknamed her “Dynamite”. I could tell by how quickly she got to Omaha that she was still high energy, even when it came to her driving.
As she and her travel buddy were taking me back home from us enjoying coffee together at Burger King, I pointed out the Bronco’s hamburger restaurant that is near my home, not knowing if she had been a fan when she lived here, and with no hesitation she said “I know where I’m getting lunch”. And she probably got their jacket fries as part of her lunch.
