Helen Downing Jolley, fortified with the Sacrements, was called home on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of John M. Jolley, Loving mother of Matthew (Elizabeth) Jolley, Nancy (James) Marik,
Joseph “Jake” (Laura) Jolley, Thomas (Anne) Jolley and the late John, Robert, and Mary Jolley. Dear Mother-in-law of Randy Dietz: Dear sister of Sally (Glenn) Haley and John Michael Downing. Dear sister-in-law of Marie (William) Jolley and Joan M. Jolley. Our dear grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 3, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend.
Helen was a loving person who was fiercely independent. She was an avid bridge player and had many friends. She loved to travel. Helen will be much missed by her family and friends.
Services: Visitation Monday, January 26, 9am until time of Memorial Mass at 10am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 243 W. Argonne, Kirkwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or charity of choice.
