Isabel “Bella” Brown Burkholder
Isabel “Bella” Brown Burkholder
May 24, 1994 – Sept. 26, 2023
Beloved daughter of Lisa Magness and Dennis Burkholder; granddaughter of the late James and Kathleen Magness, Marion Burkholder and the late Richard Burkholder; niece of Konrad Magness, Eric Magness (Carmen), Susan Cheij (Abe); great cousins “Aunt Josie” Sullivan, Catherine Burge and Mary Voytek.
Bella loved her cousins, extended family, and abundance of friends near and far.
Bella is survived by her loving partner, Anna Bertrand, along with their rescues, Max, Tyson and Bandit.
Bella’s smile, smart wit, sense of humor, and passion for life was a gift to all who loved her. She lived her life demonstrating unconditional love, acceptance, patience, and kindness all while quietly and courageously facing persistent health challenges. She enjoyed volunteering, hiking, music, movies, documentaries, photography, playing guitar, writing songs, art, cooking, technology, virtual reality, exploring genealogy and history, and a recent passion of golf.
Bella loved helping people and making them laugh. She will be missed by all who loved her.
May her memory be a blessing.
