Jacqueline Beatrice Harris
was 78 years old when she peacefully transitioned from her
earthly home to her heavenly home on Friday, July 8, 2022.
She was born December 18, 1943, to Albert Jerome Hogan
and Ivora Lee Taylor who proceeded her in death. Jacqui
was also proceeded in death by two brothers Arthur and
James: one sister Theresa.
Jacqui was deeply loved and she leaves to cherish precious
memories, one sister Alma, one brother Richard, four
children: Melford (Linda), Marvin (Mollie), Kevin, and Rachel
(Karl) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, friends, and bonus loved ones.
Jacqui was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She was
educated in the St. Louis public school system and graduated
in 1958 from Sumner High School. Jacqui worked various
jobs throughout her young life, yet St. Mary’s Health Center
employed her for 35 years, where she held several positions
in Environmental Services. In the early 1990’s she was
promoted and worked as a Nursery Technician until she
retired.
Jacqui was known for being fun, loving, and free-spirited. She
enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. She was an extremely
talented seamstress, designing and sewing many one-of-a-
kind pieces. Jacqui enjoyed making all things beautiful,
knitting and crocheting.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved the Lord, was
a faithful believer and dedicated member of St. Peter AME
Church in St. Louis for many years.

    God gained a Queen. Jackie was an amazing woman that loved God,her Family and life very out going had a heart of gold would do everything to help you, very funny. I met in 1975 when I started working at St Mary’s Health Center we became friends.She told me about a A senior citizen organization and we would hang out out weekly and have a ball, She will be missed.But now she dancing,singing,and sewing with her Lord and Savior hallelujah glory to God.
