Jane T. (Davis) Burle

Jane T. (Davis) Burle

At the youthful age of 83 on Saturday, October 3, 2020 our beloved, devoted, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and godmother was born to Eternity.

Jane was born on June 22, 1937 to James T & Clara M (Vogt) Davis, who preceded her to eternity. September 17, 1960 Jane Theron Davis married the love of her life, Philip John Burle. The Lord blessed them with 60 years as one heart. Within their spirit and love for each other they were blessed with five daughters Anne Allen, Mary Clare Galarza, Ellen Beuhler, Marlene Burle, and Joan Shoeffel. Jane was a very loving, supportive and wonderful grandmother to many grandchildren.

Our devoted beloved Jane was raised and raised her family in the parish of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Normandy. She graduated high school from Incarnate Word Academy. Then pursued her nursing degree from St. John Nursing School. Her passion in nursing was the care of the elderly and making sure all souls were treated with dignity.

In 1989 Jane and John moved to Fenton and Sacred Heart parish in Valley Park where they took root and became active pivotal members. She had a devout devotion to St. Therese of Lisieux and the Holy Mother through the rosary. Other loves of Jane’s included her family, friends, the Lake of the Ozarks, playing cards, dancing, chardonnay, traveling, her dog, touch therapy, and retreats.

Jane’s faith and eternal love for her beloved family were the core root of her life. Whatever Jane did she did it with contagious, love, and joy. She left an unforgettable and sacred blessing on many of the people she met. She lived, loved, and laughed a blessed fulfilled life.

SERVICES: Celebration of Life Mass on Saturday, October 10, 2020 @ 11:00 Sacred Heart Church in Valley Park. In lieu of flowers please make donation to either St. Ann’s in Normandy St. Vincent DePaul (SVPD) or Sacred Heart in Valley Park SVDP.

Jane was my RCIA sponsor. I began that journey with her in 2007 and was baptized and confirmed at Easter Vigil in April 2009. She supported me through almost 2 years of RCIA. She was a very special friend and ACTS Sister. I will truly miss her. She always had a smile on her face and was always more concerned about others than herself. I could tell that she and John were so in love. A very special person has left this earthly place and has left behind such wonderful memories. I am forever blessed by her presence in my life. My prayers to John and her daughters. May God Bless You and Keep you in the Palm of his hand. There will always be a special place in my heart for Jane. YSIC – Lois Kruessel

Jane had a real gift with her Dog Gracie to help patients at St Clare Hospital feel better. She was devoted to this mission of providing comfort. She was a longtime volunteer. It was a pleasure to know her and will be missed. Bless her.

I just realized that I had not heard that my beautiful cousin Jane had passed. (Janes dad and my grandmother were brother and sister) I always admired Jane, and all she had accomplished in her life.
    God Bless
