Jennifer George

Jennifer (Dooley) George , 48, passed away peacefully at home in St. Louis.

Jennifer was born July 20, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Pearl Dooley.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Dooley and her sister

Sharon Dooley. Jennifer is survived by her brothers Robert Dooley, Jack Dooley (Christine),

Thomas Dooley (Anne), and her sister Patricia Sosa (Daniel). She was a loving Aunt to Bryan

Dooley (Katie), Steve Trout (Angel), Maya Sosa, Jordan Sosa and Alex Sosa. She was an adoring

Great Aunt to Paige, Cora, Bryce and Jase Dooley.

Jennifer’s life was driven by the love for her family, friends and animals. She married Charlie George in 2005. Sadly the marriage did not last. He recently preceded her in death. She worked for many years at Federal Mogul in customer service, where she was the main contact for several large automotive chains and handled their accounts. Jennifer loved to spend time talking to family and friends. When you got a call from Jen, you might as well sit down and put your feet up, the girl could talk! She also LOVED to travel and visit new places and see other cultures. She was never afraid to try something new, as she was a very brave person. She even had an occupation as a security guard earlier on in life. Jennifer loved the beach, so she surrounded herself with memories, pictures, and seashells from the beach. Jennifer also loved her pets, all cats and dogs; she would have had a house full of them if it was possible. Her beautiful spirit lives on in our hearts and memories.

A poem from Jennifer (she wrote) 1987:

Today, Tomorrow & Yesterday

Today is passing, with a glimpse

Tomorrow is hope, of things to come

Yesterday is sadness, of dreams gone by

Finish Today

While looking at tomorrow

Letting go of yesterday.

Have faith, where your heart leads, Love surpasses all

Time won’t stand still

Jennifer will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Our hearts a heavy with grief. Jennifer called Charles the day he died. I answered his phone and told Jenn he was dying from cancer. She came to the hospice and she and I held his hand as he died. Then, to have her die mere days after. My beliefs lead me to think this not coincidental. Our deepest sympathy to the Dooley, Sosa families. May she rest in peace.

So sorry Dooley family. Anything Jennifer was a part of, was better. Joy is what she emitted. You couldn’t see or talk to her without feeling better afterwards.
Thank you for always being my friend Jennifer. I love and will miss you dearly.

Jennifer, I thought I left a message here when you passed. I will always remember our times together on Nashville with Trixie and Bambi. Our day trips we took, having you over for thanksgiving, and all the fun we had when we met five years before tou passed
