Jermaine Johnson
Jermaine Johnson was born on January 17, 1971 to the parents of Diana Johnson Miller and Marvin “Peaches” Graham. Jermaine was a beauty of a male child. He was a great big brother. Being the oldest of six, he took care of his siblings and tried to make sure that everything was right for them.
This well-groomed, well-dressed handsome Black man struggled like many in the mean streets of St. Louis but he never let people see him sweat. He carried life with a confident spirit.
Jermaine continued increasing his knowledge about many subjects. He never stopped reaching toward bettering himself. He believed in doing his very best at whatever task he was given. He worked in the hospitality industry. He made sure to perform his duties with efficiency and with pride. His employers could rely on this. He had excellent work ethics. Many of Jermaine’s employers respected the man he was.
In his spare time, Jermaine enjoyed watching sports and listening to Old School jams. “This music comes with a story”, he would say. On the subject of sports, he would hold a lengthy conversations with his brothers about basketball, baseball and football. Jermaine and his brothers most favorite team was the St. Louis Rams. He did not abandon the Rams when they moved to Los Angeles. He continued to watch them every opportunity he got. Jermaine also enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and pool. He once won a championship with those pool sticks. In addition to his love for sports Jermaine had a humorous side as well. You might find him in the presence of his brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces showering them with moments of laughter. He had jokes.
Jermaine and the Lord had a talking relationship. On Thursday, July 30th, God spoke to Jermaine to say “I am retiring 174071. Enough is enough. Come be a member of MY hospitality team”.
