He was one of the best men I knew. Miss ya uncle Jimmy.
My heart aches for your loss. All of the Marcos are in my thoughts and prayers daily.
Jimmy, RIP with our Lord. I will always remember our childhood on Stein Road. Pickup baseball, football, campouts on the Marco property. Jimmy or Johnny were opposing QB’s or starting pitchers. So sorry we lost touch and happy you had a loving life and family. RIP
Johnny,Jerry,Jimmy, Jeffery, Janita and Judy! How sweet the memories of our years growing up! Jimmies smile and kind soul will forever live with me. God bless the Marco family.
That smile was always on his face, his love for our Lord shined through him to all he met. He leaves a hole in our hearts and lives, but rest assured he is now in a much better place than we are. Till we meet again my friend. Diane Graslie
We are all so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a wonderful man and teacher at Central Christian School where we first met him when he was Shauna and Laurens gym teacher. He loved his students and was such a great example to them. Our hope is that we will see him again when we are all in heaven. I pray that Jesus comforts you and your family at your time of great loss. God bless you❤️🙏✝️
Jim, I miss you. You were my best friend and can never be replaced.
Rest in peace.
I remember Jimmy from my childhood church, Ferguson Presbyterian. His smile is etched in my memory. What a great guy. So sorry for your loss.
I was hoping to make the service, but will be out of town. I wanted to pass along my condolences and memories if Jimmie to your family. I met Jimmie at First Presbyterian Ferguson. Jimmie organized the sports events at church…softball and basketball. Later in life. Jimmie was my drivers ed teacher at McCluer. Several years ago, I searched for Jimmie on Facebook, because I wanted to reach out to him, and tell him how much he meant to me…in my “early years”. I couldn’t find him, and sadly, in this earthly world, I will not be able to pass along my thoughts to Jimmie. But, I will leave them here. Jimmie was such a solid person, a solid man, a spiritual man…but also imperfect like all of us. He would get a little feisty from time to time, but so would I, and so would the team. Jimmie always reeled us back in and kept a coolness, and the calmness about him. I was told a story recently, about a time our church won a basketball “tournament”. We had a few players that weren’t church regulars, but they helped us win. Jimmie…knowing it wasn’t quite right…gave the trophy to the 2nd place team and conceded our championship. Classic Jimmie. I will never forget the time, and effort, he put into me, us, the youth at our church. They are some of the greatest memories of my life. The world needs more people and mentors like Jimmie Marco.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Jim was a wonderful teacher and coach. He brought sports to our Central Institute children. He always had a smile on his face and kindness in his heart.
Jim Marco was the best gym teacher at CID. He was so much fun to be with. He inspired many of us. He always smiled. I am so sorry for his passing.
So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I worked with Jim at Central Institute for Deaf for many years. Jim was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
He was a great coach at CID. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him at CID.
