John W. Brooks Jr.

John Winston Brooks, Jr., 53, of High Ridge died Nov 1, 2020, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Brooks was a machinist by trade, and had a way with computers. He had an associates degree in business from the University of Phoenix. He loved animals of all kinds, but had a special love in his heart for St. Bernard’s; he was the proud owner of four of them throughout the years. Born Jun 11, 1967, in St. Louis, MO, he was the beloved son of Joan Brooks, nee Bryant, and the late John W. Brooks, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Jamie Brooks; the two loves of his life, eternal best friends and his partners in life: Lori Princivalli (former wife) and Nancy (Knight) Brooks; his daughters: Ashley (Travis) Princivalli Wheeler and Erin Tynes; his granddaughters: Piper Roberts and Willow Boelling; his grandsons: Derrick Renfro, Brendam Wheeler and Grayson Wheeler; niece: Scarlett Brooks-Sanders; as well as many, many friends and family members who were near and dear to his heart. He was preceded in death by his only son, John Aaron Brooks.

John was a strong, gifted, intellectual, artistic and handsome man with a beautiful smile; he was a believer in being kind to everyone he met, and he had the gentlest soul, yet he was quite the trickster. He was always teasing and ‘messing’ with someone. He was charismatic and easily made friends with everyone he met. John had a love for all things Halloween – so much so that all who love him are convinced that he got his wish to pass away on Halloween night. In addition to Halloween, he loved Christmas, Elvis Presley, WWE/WCW/ECW wrestling organizations, MMA fighting, 80’s hair bands, classic cars and above all else, he loved being around children: especially his children, grandchildren, and his niece. He was so loved and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. He will live on forever in our hearts.

Words can’t describe how every feels. You were so caring and always knew how to put a smile on anyones face. Always talking about the cars you had back in the day. We had so many memories that will live on. I’m glad you got to meet my daughter. Keep watching over your friends and family. Till we meet again.
RIP uncle John we love you
