Joseph David Green passed away peacefully at Mercy South Hospital on 11/1/2022 at the age of 71. He was born in St. Louis, MO on 12/14/1950. Beloved son of  The Late Melvin and Rose Green.

Survived by his loving wife Garnetta Green.

Loving father of his late son Joseph Douglas Green, loving brother of the late Rose Mary O’Shea, late brother Michael Green, Loving sister Patricia Mangiaracino, Dear Brother in-law Michael Mock, loving grandfather and great grandfather, dear uncle and great uncle up to four generations. Joe had many family and friends and was very compassionate towards others.

Joe worked for the St. Louis city police garage as a supervisor mechanic for 28+ years, until he had to retire due to his health. Joe loved working on old cars in his spare time. Joe enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He loved going fishing with his nephew Vince O’Shea at Carlyle Lake, and fishing with his friends. Joe loved to cook, and loved to eat homemade meals.

Joe will forever be missed, and will be in our hearts and prayers forever.
