Kaleope “Hope” Goldman

Kaleope “Hope” Goldman (nee Pantelides) born January 31, 1962 died peacefully in her sleep December 10, 2020.

Hope loved to have fun. She was very adventurous and free spirited. She enjoyed fashion, food, and spending time with her family. Her favorite pastimes included listening to music and watching old movies and tv shows.

Much of Hope’s early life was spent on the beaches of NJ, enjoying the beauty of the shore. During her lifetime she spent time in New York city caring for others. Later in life her family convinced her to relocate to the Midwest to be closer to her sisters, where she spent her final years.

Hope is preceded in death by her longtime companion James Wheelan, brothers Nick and Archie Pantelides of New Jersey, Diana Pantelides of St. Louis, and Stacy Pantelides Maneri of New York.

Hope is survived by her loving son Jonathan Goldman of New Jersey, Sisters Georgia Pantelides of New Jersey, Rhea Keller (Richard), Dorothy Travis (Brendt), Joanne Klein (Keith), all of Missouri, and multiple nephews, nieces, and beloved cousins.

Although Hope faced many hardships through her life, she never lost her sweet spirit. Her laugh was infectious and brought joy to anyone she encountered. She was kind and giving, even trying to care for those that cared for her near the end of her life. Many times, Hope would talk about her proudest accomplishment, the birth of her son Jonathan.

Due to current restrictions, a memorial service will be planned for the Summer of 2021.
