Karl Albert Dethloff
September 20th, 1934 – December 28th, 2024
Karl Albert Dethloff was born on September 20, 1934 in Germany and passed away peacefully in his home on December 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Karl was the loving husband of Maria for 53 years. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and uncle. He cared deeply for family, friends, neighbors, and animals. Kind and generous, he touched the lives of many.
Karl had a lifelong love for music, soccer, reading, and being outdoors, especially in his garden. He was eternally optimistic and always quick to offer a helping hand or a kind word. He cherished being a grandfather and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Uncle Karl was like a second father to me.
I owe much to both my uncle Karl and aunt Mary.
I often remember the times we spent together.
He will forever be remembered as the energetic fun loving person he was.
Rest in peace uncle Karl.
Karl was an incredible husband, father and grandfather. He was the example of a true friend, always ready to guide and mentor. I was one of the lucky people that had Karl as my good friend for many cherished years. Rest in peace my dear friend.

My grandpa, Karl was the best man in my life and will always be. He was always there for me, my mom, my grandma, and the rest of my family. He always helped people, lifted them up, made them laugh, and touched the life of everyone he met. He was truly one of the most amazing people in this world. He encourages and inspires me to be the best version of myself I can be. I love you so much grandpa and I always will no matter what.
I can’t resist to say something about one of the best human beings I have to know. Thanks to lord allmayti that he crossed our passages so I can get too know Carl little better. Would truly need more people like Carl, There are no words that we can express our feelings sometimes, so we love someone because our soul fil goodness in other soul.

I was lucky enough to get to know Karl and Maria, through Marios, while I was studying in St. Louis in the 80s’. I fondly remember Karl, his pleasant personality, positive attitude towards life, selfless caring for everyone and his total devotion to his family. He has left a positive impact on my life. Rest in peace dear Karl.
