Kathleen Marie Gilleran 

Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Gilleran, age 91, of St. Charles Missouri passed away on Monday January 9th,  2023 peacefully in her sleep. Kathy was born to parents John and Marie on August 10th, 1931.  

Kathy was a first grade and reading specialist teacher who taught and retired from Bayless School  District.  

Kathy was the most adventurist and generous of spirit. She was one of a kind, unique and independent.  She lived life her way on her terms and let little stand in her way. Kathy had a fashion and style only she  could pull off and trying to change her mind on anything was quite a task. She showed all what was  truly important in life by her actions, kindness and generosity. She is survived by an enormous family  she created along her lifetime. She traveled the world, adding to that family. Kathy supported and  encouraged those she loved to follow their dreams and helped whenever and however she could. Kathy  had a big heart, especially for her animals. She rescued and took in so many, providing them a life filled  with so much love. In her final days, she spoke of many of those she loved and lost, an anticipation of  reconnection. Kathy will be forever loved.
