Kay Clark

Kathryn Clark—redhead by choice, card shark by skill, and lifelong advocate for real plates (even for takeout)—passed away, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and perfectly timed sass.

Kathryn never left the house without her makeup, never wavered on her vow to remain a redhead, and never slept without Willy, her trusty giant stuffed moose. She always said he made the best bed partner cause he never snored or hogged the covers. She enjoyed her nightly glass of Pinot Grigio, spent hours crafting handmade cards, and could knit dish scrubbies with the precision of a master artisan. Every Christmas, friends and family eagerly awaited her legendary caramels, which disappeared faster than she could make them. And we can’t forget her years as a beautician and expert wallpaper hanger.

She is survived by her daughter Meredith, her extended family, and a circle of friends who became like family over the years. To those who knew her, she was a vibrant, witty, and fiercely independent woman who made life a little sweeter—both literally and figuratively.

In her honor, please enjoy a glass of Pinot, play a round of cards, and for heaven’s sake, use a real plate.
