Kevin Robert Long
We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our beloved son and brother, Kevin Robert Long (60), a true adventurer and a great storyteller. Kevin always had a way of making us laugh and bringing joy to our lives. He was known for his photography, his love for wood-carving, and his dedication to his mother, Janet Long, these many years.
He is survived by his mother and siblings, Dana Schmidt, Elaine Shreve and Keith Long, eight nieces and nephews who adored him, and many dear friends who will forever cherish the memories of his laughter and kindness.
In lieu of flowers or other remembrances, donations can be made to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation as a tribute.
A celebration of his life will be held in June when immediate family will all be in town and able to gather.
My heart aches for the loss of my nephew and my friend. His warm heart, his love for his family, his exceptional knowledge of so many things, his love for the outdoors, his interests amazed me, he was simply such a ‘good guy’. Kevin will live on in my heart especially when I’m ’in the peace of a forest’ and I know I will feel his presence.
Look down on me and remind me to smile, Kev.
Sincerely Aunt Bea
Prayers for strength, courage and comfort to all of Kevin’s family members and friends during this time of grief.
