My condolences goes out to the Hart family.
Lt Hart, mentored me and believed in me when I wasn’t quite sure of myself. He challenged me, and taught me so much about what it means to be a Black Man in law enforcement and how to make an impact. I will always be grateful to have worked under his leadership. Thank you Lt for what you did for us all. Love you brother. God Bless You.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the Hart family. I’ve know him since jr. high school. We hadn’t spoken in years until we connected in FB earlier this year. I knew that he had some issues but never imagined a day that he wouldn’t be here.

Lawrence spoke very highly of his family. The love that he showed when he spoke of his wife, whom he said was sent from God, his children and his grandchildren was immense!

I pray that God gives you all peace, comfort, grace and understanding as you travel this new journey. He will be missed. ~ Love

Lawrence was a friend of mine at Nebraska, we came in during the same recruiting class.

His laugh was bigger than the room, he was always at our house during the parties, we called him “Larry Hart” when we were picking on him and he would laugh and tell us we were fools. My first week there we were driving in my car and went backwards on a one way street, he flipped out and told the story over and over on how I almost killed him.

How I would like to have :05 back with Lawrence.

My regards to the family, God got another angel for the choir.
