United States Army Veteran Leslie Eugene Adams Sr. “Gene”, 68, of Mulberry Grove, Illinois passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021.  He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, never letting anyone go hungry, love of fishing, passion for tinkering with things until he figures them out and his fondness for cold Bud Light.

Gene is survived by his partner Brenda, daughter Laurie (Nathan), son William, grandsons Ray and Nathan, granddaughters Cecily and Sonja, sister Kathy (Todd), cousins and nieces. He is also survived by those he treated as a son James (Jessica), as a daughter Carolyn and his fur babies Oreo and Sweet Pea.

Gene is preceded in death by his son Leslie, parents John and Doris, and brothers David and Ray.
