May the wind always be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you
In the palm of his hand

My house is small-
no mansion for a millionaire-
But there is room for love
And there is room for friends,
That’s all I care.
What a lovely lady. I always saw her happy and enjoying the people around her and truly I think she knew everybody. We are all better for knowing her.
Love n prayer from Michael’s in laws, Don and Roberta Atkinson.
Michael my prayers are with you, thankful you have Jon to help you through this difficult time.
Oh gosh, Aunt Linda…you were such a wonderful, encouraging, loving and fun aunt. Always full of family stories! You were one of my first babysitters when I stayed with you and Mike during the summers. That’s when you introduced me to the horses and riding which are some of my very best memories. The trail riding! I remember the tack shops, filled with cool stuff. Christmas at your house was a tradition for the whole family. My mom loved you so much. The pictures made me cry. I know I will see you again. God bless you, Love, Dinah
I knew you only briefly but heard many stories of your life and how you touched people. Your name was always spoken with love. I hope your at your own welcome home party right now with all your friends and loved ones who got there first. I have to say, Well done. You will be missed.
What a nice rendering of your mom.
“Perhaps they’re not stars in the sky,
But rather openings where our loved one’s
Shine down to let us know they are in a
Happier place”
My thoughts are with you!

With deepest sympathy, Michael. You are in my thoughts. Polly
Linda was my mother’s younger sister and frankly I can’t think of anything but good memories and sweet thoughts of my Aunt Linda. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body. In 1965 my family moved from Long Island, NY to St. Louis. In the two years prior to leaving the east coast we had experienced some dark days. Aunt Linda and Les welcomed us ( Mom and 3 kids ) into their home until we got settled. I know this meant so much to my mother. The following decades Aunt Linda continued to be so loving and concerned about us kids. She had a huge heart full goodness. Lastly she didn’t take life too seriously, she was a jokester, her laugh was more of cackle. She spread cheer where ever she went. I love you Aunt Linda.
What an amazing tribute to an amazing woman. She is watching you from above sending you healing thoughts and her love. Time does not heal but instead creates feelings of celebration when you recall your time with her. You will always miss her and think of her. She will always be with you in your heart and through your memories.
Love you
What an amazing tribute to an amazing lady. She is looking down from above with a warm heart. Time does not heal, instead it changes your sorrow into a celebration of memories. She will always be with you in your heart and memories. Cherish the memories and celebrate her amazing life. Love you
Linda was a Great HorseWoman! She loved horses, dogs, tack ,the people around her loves and, of course,
helping everyone!
She led a great life, lived on her terms, and left us remembering her joy in life and her deep knowledge of what she loved.
Dear Michael, I am so sorry in regards to your momma passing. But, I am blessed to have been able to know you and your momma all these years. She was strong, kind, and generous. I will always think of her with gratitude, thinking of our children, and providing a way for them to have a couple of horses when they were growing up. It was like she knew exactly what her niece and nephew needed, living in the country, with no neighbors nearby. Thanks for sharing your momma with us. Steve and I will always remember her with love.
Michael,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. If I can do anything for you or Jon please let me know.
My prayers are with you
Loseing your mom is very had.
What a lovely tribute to your mother. Thoughts and prayers are with you from Lynn, Alex, and Lauren.
Aunt Linda was always such a joy to be around, so positive, generous and good to our family. Many of my fondest memories from California and St. Louis are with Linda. During Linda and Chu’s visits to California, Chu would hang out with Paula and I got Linda all to myself. After our move from New York to St. Louis, I would often call Linda, she would come pick me up and I’d spend the day with her. She would always let me drive the car, with my learners permit. Les would drive me home after he got home from work. I’m so thankful for all the wonderful time Karen and I got to spend with Linda the last two months. It was so much fun reminiscing about our past together. Linda, we send you all our love and will miss you very much.
Such a wonderful and caring person that will be greatly missed .
Aunt Linda made me feel so welcome to the List family. She was so kind to Johnny 3 when we came for a visit St. Louis a couple of years ago. I feel very blessed to have known such a generous spirit who made a positive impression to everyone she met.
Michael, you are in my constant prayers, as I know losing someone is just damn hard.
Our loss is heaven’s gain.
with love,
Pam List
I have known Linda many years. She always had a smile for everyone. Michael, you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is very difficult to lose a parent but memories of her will always be with you.
May you and your family’s heart and soul find peace and comfort in this difficult time.
I am blessed to know Linda. I learned many things about horses, how to love and take care of our pony and my horse. I loved seeing her horses in The fields daily walking on our road.
Good woman! It’s harder to find souls like hers these days. Old school. Love her. God Bless you Micheal.
What a wonderful lady I miss her so much so many hours. I spent with her and Michael. You will be missed so much RIP my dear friend
Thoughts and prayers are with you and John. I will always remember her taking us to horse shows, helping me pick out ponies for Sophia and I and her great horse advice!
Happy trails Linda until we meet again….
