Linda Kay Black
Linda Kay Black, 65, of St. Peters, MO. passed away peacefully on April 17, 2022.
Linda was born in East St. Louis, IL on October 3, 1956, and she attended Warrenton High School.
Linda worked in the Insurance industry and then, following in her Father and Uncle’s footsteps, she moved on to the Trucking industry for a good portion of her life. Linda was also heavily involved as a volunteer with the Warrenton Humane Society and the Lion’s Club.
Linda’s favorite hobbies included working with animals, spending time in nature, helping others, crocheting, shopping and interior decorating.
Linda will always be remembered for her uncanny ability to continue hoping and dreaming even when the situation seemed hopeless. She loved her friends and family fiercely, and she held her grandchildren on a pedestal. She loved all animals, especially dogs and horses.
Linda is survived by her 2 children, Jason (Jasmine) Duncan and Michelle (Willie) Jones; her grandchildren, Maddox, Cayden, Morgan and Madison; she was a beloved Aunt, Niece and Cousin to her family members in Illinois and other parts of the country.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Betty (Gragert) Black.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date when her ashes are buried next to her parents in Campground Cemetery in Xenia, IL.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Linda’s immediate family. She was a special niece to us and cousin to several others. She is missed by all of our family and her friends. One thing for sure, she is at peace now. ❤
