Linda Sue Anderson, 59, a mother, daughter and dear friend passed away on September 4, 2023 at Victorian Place of Saint Clair in Saint Clair, Missouri. Born on September 1, 1964 in St. Louis County to her parents Robert Anderson and Thelma ‘Lucile’ Hundley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Anderson.

She is survived by her daughters, Katie Plaster and Vanessa Johnson (Justin), brothers Dennis Anderson (Lucille), Michael Anderson (Robin) and David Anderson. Nieces and nephews, Tabytha Jack (Christopher), Dale Anderson Jr., Matthew Anderson, Sarah Lorcheim, Gabriella Anderson and Shawn Lambert.

Linda spent most of her life in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Attending all former schools there, ultimately graduating from Pattonville High School in 1982. Most of her working years were spent as a logistical coordinator where she worked in several industries doing similar work. She had an independent, entrepreneurial spirit, having started several of her own businesses throughout the years. She started with selling healthy frozen dessert bars to local businesses and eventually started creating her own handcrafted soap which you could find online and at local markets and festivals. She loved working with her hands and was often more drawn to the outdoors and made many hobbies from hiking to rowing and photography of faun and flora. One of Linda’s passions was being frugal as well as environmentally friendly. She supported the efforts of both Earth Day and Arbor Day, passing these passions down to her children.

Her dream was to travel in an RV around North America and see as much as she could of the natural wonders. In 2021 she sold her home in Maryland Heights and bought an RV. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer around the same time and never fully realized that dream but spent as much time as she could traveling to visit family and spend what time she had left with them.

Linda became involved in the PanCAN.org organization while battling her own cancer, her last wish was to donate her body to science in hopes it could help find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. Her PanCAN memorial fund can be found here: http://support.pancan.org/goto/lindasueanderson

Linda’s memorial will be held September 23, 2023 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in St. Ann,
