In loving memory of our dearest Mother Lorraine Marie Batton
Mom passed away peacefully but unexpectedly after a brief battle with MRSA at Missouri Baptist Medical Center October 7th 2019.
She was born February 16th 1937 having beat the doctor to the family farm on the Rainier Rd in Olympia Washington. She never stopped calling it home.
Lorraine was City Clerk for the City of Berkeley from 1985 until a stroke ended her career in 2007.
Mother of Gerald Dunn Batton Jr, Jody Dean Batton, Michael Sidney Batton & Margaret Susan Batton
Grandmother to 10 wonderful Grandchildren whom she adored and loved with every ounce of her being. Michael, Katie, Andy, Jennie, David, Christina, Jessica, Sarah, Kelsey & Christopher.
Great Grandmother to 16 & 2 on the way.
Mom always overcame, strokes, aortic valve replacement, diabetes, acute asthma and near the end renal failure but MRSA was too much, however she had a huge medical team that helped her survive as long as she did.
We’ll miss her for always, love her forever and need her guidance from above.

She was a lovely woman. I’m sorry for her passing.
Love you aunt Lorraine, you are at peace, with no pain. And with family in heaven, havin My dad Andy giving you a bad time…teasing you like he did. Wish I could have been there for the remembering of your life. My heart was there. And to my cousins,,, I pray for peace in your hearts. Family doesn’t always talk but the love is there.
