Lucille Sanders was born in St. Louis, MO on July 24, 1941 to the union of Martha (Frazier) Sanders and Sam Sanders. There was a total of 10 siblings. Their names are Grace, Alice, Sam, Willie, Willie Mae, Solomon, Irene, Johnny, Morris, and Lucille being the youngest of the bunch.
As a little girl she was a member of Bethesda Temple Church, where she played piano. That’s where she met her best friend Portia Simpson.
Lucille Sanders graduated from Sumner High School in St. Louis, MO. Lucille was joined in marriage to Bennie McGraw. From that union they had a set of twins, Karen and Sharon McGraw.
Later in life, Lucille met Clarence Lee Jackson, in which from that relationship had three children. Clarence (Lil Red), Lucille (Sandy), Terrence (Terry) McGraw.
Lucille enjoyed playing the piano. She absolutely loved reading tons of books and doing crossword puzzles. She loved watching horror movies and Western movies, and spending quality time with family and friends. Lucille was a loving and caring individual.
Lucille departed this life on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. She leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Lucille McGraw is survived by her children Karen Lynn Richardson (McGraw), Sharon Kim Miller (McGraw), Clarence Lee McGraw, Lucille Saundra Malan (McGraw), and Terrence Lee McGraw.

I miss my friend whom I have known since 6th grade. She was a delightful person. We were like sisters. May she find peace and rest in the arms of Jesus.

My Auntie Lucille has now completed the last piece of the puzzle in Heaven!
All of the siblings have now made their way home and rejoicing together with their parents.
I will always treasure the memories we’d created at our 1st meeting, along with our pics.
Cousins… Be strong and comfort each other during this time.
