John 14:1-4
“Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
Stacey, My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. This is a difficult time, I know but in time your fond memories will bring you comfort and peace. Keeping you in my prayers.
Shawn
Brenda, Stacey and Danny,
Here are some words that remind me of your mom:
GIVING; everytime when I was at your house, your mom was offering something. Food, “eat Susie, you’re so skinny”. I wasn’t skinny, but I ate.
“Susie, try this blouse on, it will look good on you. I found it on sale”. So…I tried it on.
KIND; she always had something nice, and something encouraging to say. Especially if you were feeling down. She did not like to see bullying, she was the type that would stop a person on the street if they were being mean.
STRONG; I saw her protect those she loved. I felt sorry for anyone that dared to cross her. 🙂
A single mom that worked hard.
PROUD; She was proud of you guys. She expressed her pride each time one of you did anything that warmed her heart. I remember as kids how embarrassed you’d get. But im sure now, you look back on that and know how deeply important that was to her.
I’m sure I could write a hundred more words. She was a vibrant woman.
Take comfort in knowing there were many of us who loved your mom. I have alot of great memories with her. I’m glad to have had her in my life.
Hugs and prayers to the entire family.
Love, Susie
