Uncle Mark,
I am so glad you had the chance to meet my wife after dad passed.
Rest in peace old friend. Travel well on your journey into the arms of our Lord…
Watch over us down here, we need it.
We love you uncle Mark.
Love “David Alan.”
I am sending condolences to your family on the passing of Mark. I know this is a bit late BUT for some reason I thought of your family’s name. I believe my Mother worked for Dr. Bonfanti many years ago when I was a little child. She would mention that there was a very creative and energetic son that would do magic with the television and very creative with things in the home. From reading here, I believe Mark is the young son she mentioned. She is now 83 and living in San Antonio, TX. Her name is Ms Arlene.
Blessing to your family on your loss, Cynthia
I was raised an orphan. First at St. Joseph’s home for boys followed by four years at Father Dunn’s.
I had no access to money or transportation other than the bus system.
While working on a term paper Mark walked up to me and asked if I wanted to go to the Senior Prom.
Too make a long story short. Mark picked me up at Father Dunn’s and we proceeded directly over too my dates
house. We had a wonderful night with plans for the following morning.
What I am trying to say is Mark was compassionate and caring. He treated me with dignity and respect.
Somehow he knew my situation. He handled it with grace the entire evening.
I have no other memories of that evening other than my thoughts of how one human being can treat another.
Thank you Mark. Forever and ever. I have never forgotten you.
Thank you for the kind memories of our family and our dear uncle Mark BONFANTI
