Mark “Mitch” Mitchell passed quietly at home Monday, February 7, 2022.

Mark was born to Drucilla and William Mitchell on August 16 1958 in St. Louis Mo.

At 17 he joined the Army followed by the Navy. The Navy brought him to Norfolk, Va where he met his wife of 26 years, Kimberly Holman Mitchell.

Mark was an avid lover of music and all animals. He started and maintained a small cleaning business for the last 24 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Drucilla, father William, brother Jerry and his son Alex Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Kim Mitchell, sons Nicholas Mitchell and Bradley Williford. Siblings William Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Carol Ann Mitchell, Jeanette Sutherlin, and Barbara Mitchell. He is also survived by his Amelia kitty, Lucy girl, and Bernie Berns.

Mark’s beautiful and gentle soul will be missed by so many.

A memorial will be held on April 9th in Florissant Mo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the OPEN DOOR SANCTUARY in House Springs Mo.
