Marvelle Lee Hoffman, 88 years old, passed away quietly in her sleep on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her home in St. Ann, Missouri. She was born on August 16, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Marvelle is survived by her loving son John Henry Hoffman and wife Tammy Jo of St. Ann; her beloved grandchildren, Zachary Ellis, Theresa McKenna, Eric Hoffman, David Smith, Michale Smith, Anneliese Smith, Stephanie Vayluhwald, Jennifer Bodine. Michelle Bodine, John Hoffman, Jr., Abigail Hoffman and Madelyn Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of many years, Herbert Frank Hoffman; her children, Cheryl Ann Ellis, Ernest Oral Hoffman (wife Sue), Nancy Jean Nunnaly (husband Alvin) and Jerry Lee Bodine; her parents Ernest Oral and Anne Hamilton; a brother, Howard Hamilton; and sister, Lavern Robinson.

Marvelle loved her books, was an avid bowler and attended bingo nights as often as she could. She was a good friend and a loving relative who will be missed.

Per her wishes, informal services are being planned for a later date.
