Mary Gayle Hargrove,

born December 2nd 1942

passed away on May 2nd, 2019.

She was the youngest of five child to parents Virginia and Clyde Farmer. Mary Gayle had four children; Robert Benjamin, Hillman Lee, Matthew Clay, and Michael Joshua. Along with five grandchildren; Brett, Megan, Brandon, Jacob, and Presley. She was married for 30 years to her husband Kenneth where they lived happily in St. Peter’s in that time. She was also loved by her three step-daughters Brandi, Dusti, and Audi.

Popularly known as “Sug,” Mary Gayle raised numerous children and multiple generations of family that loved her and cared for her in many ways. At the end of her life she suffered from dementia which resulted in her passing. She lived with vascular dementia for the last few years where she was taken care of by her husband Ken in that time. She died with those friends and family by her side. Mary Gayle was 76.

Her husband and the rest of Mary Gayle’s family ask that any memorial contributes or condolences be made out the the American Association for Alzheimer’s in hopes of preventing another generation of family members being affected by such a hard disease.
