Melissa Mruzik
On Saturday, April 8, 2023, Melissa (Karmyn to many of her friends) passed away unexpectedly at the age of 38. Melissa had pain physically, mentally, and emotionally, but never let it get her down. She always remained a loving daughter to George and Kathy, sister to Joe and George, wonderful mother to three beautiful children, Finn, Malachi, and Autumn, and a caring friend to many, many people, and especially to Ryan.
To share what Melissa’s long time and very good friend, John, said of her: “Melissa was an extremely kind, empathetic and understanding soul. She was an inspiration for facing challenges and surviving, as she had survived a lot. She was one who created community. She held so much space for people and regularly checked in on her friends.”
Melissa’s biggest regret would be not being able to see Finn, Malachi, and Autumn grow up to be the wonderful adults they will be someday.
Melissa will be truly missed by all her family and many, many good friends she made in her lifetime.
You were gone too soon. This world won’t be the same without you.
My thoughts are with Melissa’s family. Melissa was always very kind every time I saw her. She will be missed.

Melissa will always be remembered . She was a very caring person. My condolences to her family and friends.
A light has left us but her memory lives on in her three children and in countless memories in people she touched during her too short of a lifetime.
She struggled with so many issues but always put others welfare first .
She was smart, funny, caring and her own person ever since we got to know and love her at age 6.
She was a fierce protective friend of my daughter Leslie.
She always sided with the needy and misunderstood.
She had empathy and wisdom beyond her years as a young child.
God rest her soul in peace.
I only met her a couple of times but she was always really nice and I only heard good things about her from a dear friend of mine who was a dear friend of hers. I am so sorry for her loss to everyone that she knew and loved her. At least she’s in a better place now.
Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God. Rest now my dear and cherished friend, the world will never be the same without you. My heart goes out to her entire family especially her children Finn, Malachi, and Autumn.
She was a kind person and my prayers are with the family of this wonderful soul. God Bless.

Melissa was an amazingly beautiful and smart woman. Her warmth came through whenever we spoke. I will miss her checking in on us.
She was an amazing friend to Leslie and always had her best interest at heart. She will be greatly missed.
