Hona bee boy. Had some good times. Rest well.
Shelley & Cassidi, I am so terribly sorry for your loss💔💔💔 Mike is now pain free …
My sincere condolences to family and friends who loved him. I know that Al and Mike are drinking some fine red wine and enjoying each other’s company. ❤️🐾
Mike was an interesting guy fun to be around very smart and what a personality. We were born on the same day we used to keep in touch on our birthdays, but that has been sometime now. Rest in peace, good brother. Shelley and Cassidi my thoughts and prayers are with you
Michael helped through my initial training at PCD, altho he was a manager in the established IT department, and I begin in the start -\up sales and marketing department. He helped by conveying technique and instituting confidence, and made me believe that my first placement was right around the corner since I already was the old “sales pro”. He stood up in my behalf and others when more senior management questioned our collective judgement and as many of us left to start or own firms, we remained connected by the same characteristics–headhunting and drinking with the sharks.
Mike was a low handicap golfer, often competing in tournaments, very often winning . Despite that extraordinary skill set, he quit playing golf for the most part when Kelly then Cassidy came in to his life. Yeah, still had amazing Xmas parties, 2 liter bottles of Sterling Cab always seemed near empty, and his dirty old jokes came by out of him in burping patterns. Grant Youngman called last week, conveyed Mike’s years of suffering pain, Kelly helping Mike do his- best. Honee’ will be missed; his on-time humor, his unselfishness with his time and his wallet, and he never broke a promise. We never discussed religion that I remember, but I’m sure he is in a good place and certainly no longer suffering. We loved this man.

RIP Hona. My condolences to Shelley and Cassidi. Mike was one of the hardest working guys I know in the recruiting business, and always fun to be around. Memories of Many drinks after work at PCD at the Top of the Sevens, and lest we not forget the fantastic holiday parties at Mike and Shelley’s. You will be missed brother.
So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. Just heard today. Mike was a high school friend & we reconnected back in the late 70s then once again at our 50 year HS reunion. His dad was also our pharmist during the 60s. My condolences to his family.
Shelley and Casidi, I am so sorry to hear this news. Mike was not only a boss, but a friend. I attribute much of my success in the industry to Mike. Stay strong and know I am here if you if you need to talk. I just made a donation in Mike’s name to St Jude’s.
Great friend and mentor! He’ll be missed. Prayers for all from the Kendalls.
Shelley and Cassidi, I was so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Praying for both of you.
I first met Mike 40 years ago when I moved to Missouri to take a position at Ralston Purina. Back then we used a lot of recruiters, Mike by far was a favorite. Mike was a great guy, much admired and loved by many. He will be missed.
I was deeply saddened to hear about Mike’s passing. He was not only a great boss and mentor but also a wonderful person who brought so much joy and wisdom into our lives. I’ll always cherish the fun times we shared and the invaluable lessons he taught me. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Shelley, Cassidi, and the entire family during this difficult time.
My heartfelt prayers for you Shelley, and Cassidi. I just learned of Mike’s passing and am so sorry. Mike was my very first recruiter when I was working at McDonnell Douglas Electronics Company. Years later, I started working as a full-time I.T. recruiter and Mike (a legend in the recruiting business) was very helpful with advice and we became friends and neighbors, both home and work. I’ll miss Mike for sure and will keep you both in my prayers. God Bless you always!
Shelly, I just heard about Mike. I’m sorry for your loss. And for that matter all of our loss. Mike was a great guy.
Mike and I were not only peers but very close friends for our lives at PCD and afterwards with our own firms. He was a guy that lived and loved to the fullest. My first journey to Negril Jamaica was with Mike and friends. He will always be a person that I had some unbelievable times with and a person that knew what he was doing in the world of recruiting. .
Not many of us made it in the business we chose but Mike was that good and that solid. Mike enjoyed life and all its ups and downs. He will be missed and I am honored to be someone he called friend and respected.
Gods speed my friend.
While checking to see if Mike was still recruiting, I sadly came across this notice. Hona’ was one of a kind and helped me immensely to get going in the recruiting business. While I haven’t done that for decades I still remember him as an unselfish guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Ran into him years ago at Gianfabios and met Shelley. My condolences to Shelley and Cassidi.
