Mildred Frances (Unverferth) Sextro
Mildred Frances (Unverferth) Sextro passed away surrounded by loved ones in her home on October 2, 2024 after 98 years of loving her family and her God with all her heart. She was married to Guy Robert Sextro Sr. He was the Catholic man she prayed for and loved deeply for 51 years until his death in 2000. Together they raised 5 children Trish (Jim) Hess, Judy (Bill Sr.) Krenn, Guy Jr. (Shannon) Sextro, Dan (Kim) Sextro and David (Rita) Sextro. She was preceded in death by her dearest sons Guy Jr. and Dan who recently passed away too soon. Yes, it’s been a difficult year!
Milly was extremely proud of her 23 grandchildren Amy, Cara, Nate, Josh, Zack, Ben, Bill Jr., Katie, Anna, Peter, Guy III, Ashley, Sam, Luke, Sophie, Max, John, Danielle, Alex, Kelly, Kristen, Alise, Ryan and her great grandchildren Tyler, Gavin, Alyssa, Connor, Delaney, Logan, Matthew, Thomas, Mary Charles, Hazel, Andy, Will Eli, Nick, Owen, Emory, Noah, Liam, Taylor, Adria, Magnolia, Rosemary, Branson, Gabriel, Jackson, Ella, Michael, Zelie, Zion, Ambrose, Valentine, and her Bonus Grands Paige, Ethan, and Bonus Greats Gabe, Trinyti, April, Wesley, Joe, Noah, and Kayden. What a legacy!
She has a dear sister Katy (John ✝) Moran and a big brother Carl (Mary) Unverferth ✝. Milly loved her big, extended Lukefahr and Unverferth family and had so many treasured memories of life with roots in Perryville. She also loved the large Sextro clan who sang, played, and celebrated life together.
Their golden years were spent at Innsbrook, in the home they lovingly referred to as The Happiness Hotel. Milly and her family filled it with so many wonderful meals (1,2,3…), card games, tears, laughter, prayers, sleepovers, lots of children and dogs, and most of all LOVE! GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO US!
Please join us for Milly’s celebration of life Friday, October 18, 2023 at 4:30PM with a liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Church 2 Seton Ct., St. Charles, MO 63303. We will continue the celebration at All Occasion Banquet Hall 111 Compass Point Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301.

Milly was such a fun-loving person. I remember meeting her not long after we permanently moved to Innsbrook. I was asked to sub on the bunko group she belong and she was hosting it at her house. We are also fortunate to be at guest at her 90th birthday party at the IBK conference center. These are just a few great memories I have of Milly.
Our condolences,
Bob and Jackie Grah
Millie was a Sweetheart! She was the very first person we met at Innsbrook in 2001 after we bought our first chalet. I also played poker with her for several years & was honored to be invited to her 90th birthday celebration.
What a great lady!
So sorry for your loss,
Bob & Rosemary Kelly

Millie was the first person I met in Innsbrook and always so much fun. We loved walking through new new construction and critiquing it!! And, I’ll always remember our trip to Ireland when we were roommates. My sympathies and I will pray for comfort for your family. Rene Hileman
TRISH I am So sorry for your loss!!!
Was out of the country until yesterday and just read about Millie’s passing. I played cards with Millie for a while until Covid kept us all from getting together. Once we resumed getting together again, Millie chose not to continue. Always enjoyed her company. She loved playing the game Follow the Queen. I often choose this game in her honor as do others in our group.
Sorry I missed her Celebration of Life and mass. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
With deepest sympathy,
Linda Shaw (Innsbrook)
We would like to say thank you, to so many who loved our mom and helped to bring joy to her life. Thank you for sharing your wonderful thoughts. Thank you for being among the many who loved her so. God gave us a most special gift. As Daddy would say, “The Lord has been so good to us”.
