My life was so much richer because of you and all we shared. You did so much for so many, this short life review doesn’t touch all your life accomplishments centered around serving others. I’m so sorry your grands will never know the wonderful woman you were, I’ll always feel so blessed to have had your loving and loyal friendship.

It is a sad day knowing that we lost you my dear friend, but there are so many good memories you are leaving behind. I am glad I had a chance to meet you through our great friend Nancy, and that you then become a part of my life. I always enjoyed your company, and it makes me sad that your grandchildren won’t have a chance to grow up with you in their lives Michael, you left such a great impression on my children , and my daughter said”Michael was joy to be around. you will stay in our heart for rest of our lives,May you rest in peace.

Dear Michael—I’m not sure how they met but she became a friendly connection for our son early in his Army career and she took him under her wing. His first Christmas @ Ft. Riley–Michael invited him to spend the day with her and her family and told him to come out anytime–he showed up @ 8 AM!! She embraced him as an adopted child–which meant a lot to THIS Momma! I had many conversations with Michael but regrettably she was a friend I never had a chance to meet. A truly generous soul who touched my life and I am grateful for that.

Thanks for letting me know about your mom! Michael was a special friend and fellow B&B Innkeeper and we shared many good times together. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and your families. My God watch over you at this time and give you strength. Mary Lambert, former Innkeeper at Ehrsam Place B&B near Abilene, KS.

My good friend, Michael, was missed when she left Manhattan and her wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Fate will out! She talked of her children often and I know you all will miss her.

You were such a beautiful spirit. You taught me to take life’s experiences and use them to serve others. You have always been SO good to me and the rest of my family. I will always remember your good humor, patience, well placed sarcasm and nurturing spirit. You deserve the respect of a second mother to me. What a loss here on earth. Many of us are better people today because of knowing and learning from you. Such a loyal and accepting person in my life-Thanks for all of your love…
