Nadine was born February 13, 1954, to the late Alfred and Ardella in St. Louis, MO. When she was three years old her parents separated and Ardella married George Haynes. George Haynes adopted Nadine and three other children who he loved and raised as his own. Nadine attended Soldan High School.

Nadine met and married her late husband Charles Carmel. She is also preceded in death by two brothers Perrie and Chico.

Nadine expired on May 14, 2016 in St. Louis, MO. She leaves to mourn her passing; two sisters Katie Cole and Georgedella Haynes- Lane; a nephew James Montgomery; a niece Jammie Montgomery; and a host of cousins and friends.
