Nicholas Deane Selle, age 25, died surrounded by his family on December 6, 2018, after a short illness. He is survived by his mother Jacquelin and his sisters Caitlin and Cristin of Eureka, his grandparents Kenny and Judie Deane of Bolivar, his aunt Karen Sprinkle and her husband Jim of Webb City, his uncle Duwayne Selle of Appleton City, his aunt Tracy Donohue and her husband Jim of Wentzville, and many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Kevin and his grandparents Kenneth Selle and Lois Mayes. Despite his physical challenges, Nicholas delighted in being around people who loved him, and he particularly enjoyed vocalizing his joy at church. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his mischievous smile and infectious laugh. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29 at St. Francis’ Episcopal Church in Eureka. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the church or to St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care in St. Louis.
