Noel Thomas Luster

Noel Thomas Luster of Ballwin, Mo., passed away at his home on Dec. 7, 2022, after being diagnosed
with multiple myeloma 28 months before. Noel was born March 14, 1937 to Ellen Collard
Luster and Clyde Elrod Luster in St. Louis, Mo. They preceded him in death. Noel is survived
by his wife, Beverly Ann Davis Luster, his children: Sheri Luster, Dale Luster, and Douglas
Storm, his grandchildren: Harrison Luster, Hartley Noel Luster and Madeline Storm, his
brother Robert Luster, all of the St. Louis area, and his brother Tim Luster of Texas. Several
nieces and nephews also survive, as do countless friends sprinkled throughout the United
States. A Celebration of his Life will be held in his home on Dec. 30, 2022 after 5 p.m. He has
been cremated and will be interred in the Spring. Noel’s temple was the outdoors. He has a
kind soul, and lived the only Commandment Jesus gave us: “Love one another.”

Noel was President of Brig, Inc. as a manufacturer’s rep of plastics and steel, with an engineering mind that never stopped whirling. Noel was educated at Washington University and University of Missouri-Rolla. He was a licensed pilot and interested in everything, always working to perfect and teach others skills: golf, pool, archery, fishing at Lake of the Ozarks and Key West, hunting, boating, snow skiing, water skiing. Whether it was turkey camp or deer camp, he took extraneous steps to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and creating fabulous memories. The family second home at Lake of the Ozarks was filled with people, dogs, and activity. He was a man’s man that when he met his demise was like taking down a Redwood tree, as he was always the strongest, and in his family’s opinion, the smartest man in the room. He was a great accompaniment to his wife’s piano life, and worked diligently to help National Federation of Music Festivals run smoothly. He proudly supported Pianos for People and hoped others would also.
