On Friday, June 9, 2023 Patt Ruck Christie passed away at the age of 69. Born November 6, 1953 in Belleville, IL, she graduated with a degree in Journalism from Mizzou in 1975. She married John Christie in 1982, raised their three children – Margaret, Matthew and Joseph; she was also step-mother to Reid Christie. Patt had an appreciation for humor and enjoyed a good guffaw at any opportunity. Her struggles and suffering in her latter years were also part of her life, yet she maintained a lively spirit and was a sweet caretaker to Thomas Raymond, the dog, until the end. She loved her husband John with her entire being and is finally with him again – enjoying a great guffaw at her age (69 on 6/9) on passing.
