Paula S. Schilling
Paula S. Schilling, nee Lamb, 52, of Ferguson, MO, born December 26, 1959, in St. Joseph, MO, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at her home in Ferguson, MO.
Mrs. Schilling was an avid animal rescuer and a member of the Ferguson, MO, Community Emergency Response Team. Known affectionately as “Miss Schilling” to elementary school children throughout the Ferguson-Florissant school district, she had been a room-mother, nurses’ office assistant, and playground aide and always had a hug for anyone who was in need of one.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Max E. Lamb; and two sisters, Rebecca Lamb, and Pam Orr, nee Lamb.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Alan Schilling, whom she married on July 12, 1985;
two daughters, Krista M. Schilling of Mishawaka, IN and Mandy G. Schilling of St. Louis, MO;
three sons, Joshua D. Kaufman, Jonah M. (Katie) Kaufman, of Austin, TX and Jesse R. Schilling of St. Louis, MO;
one brother, Lewis E. Lamb of Kansas City, KS; brother-in-law, Bob Orr of St. Joseph, MO;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Bonnie Clements, nee Schilling, of Carmel, IN;
her mother, Betty Jo Lamb, nee Wagner of Kansas City, KS;
her father-in-law, Raymond J. Schilling of Belleville, IL;
many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
