Peter James Schibler was born on July 11, 1956 in St. Louis, MO where he was placed in foster care and later adopted into the loving Schibler family. He served in the U.S. Army from 75-81. Graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He worked for the University of Missouri-Columbia in the Assessment Resource Center from 1990-2003. He married Estella Hawkins-Stuart on June 11, 1998. He passed away on November 3, 2020 at Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield, MO.

He is preceded in death by a step daughter Crystalyn Henson and a great niece Emelia Eakins. Survivors include his wife Estella Schibler, parents Ken and Sue Schibler, step daughter Lorie Lofquist, all of St. Louis, Mo. He is also survived by his sisters Carol Skillman, Bonnie Wagner, Bea Wilmering, and Margie Deustchman along with a brother Ken Schibler and their spouses all of St. Louis, MO. a grandson Bradley Lofquist of Annapolis, MD and a granddaughter Haley Lofquist of St. Louis, MO. He had numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial mass November 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sarrows catholic church, 5020 Rhodes Ave, St Louis, Mo. 63109
