I should have checked this sooner. No one informed me of Bob’s death. I was his first student teacher back in 1964. It was a wonderful experience. I taught with him from 1967 until he retired. I continued teaching until I retired in 2000. In August 2000, I started my second teaching career as an adjunct at UMSL until I completely retired in 2022. I owe so much to Bob for giving me a great, positive start in the profession I loved until I was 80. He was a brilliant educator and great mentor.
