Robert L. Keys

August 14, 1955-September 22, 2013

Many who called him Bob Keys, 58, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2013 with his family at his side. He touched many lives and our hearts are saddened by his death. He is the son of Laverne, Pat and James Keys. He is survived by his beautiful beloved wife Anna and their family, daughter Krissi (Steve, Cole, Chase), son Michael (Lauren), son Phillip (Julie, Paige, Madison, Sophia, Stephen), son David, daughter Amy (Bryan, Ben, Jack), sister Vicki (Joe, Kelli, Jim, Sam, Luke, Bella, Joey, Denise, Gianna, Ariah, Steven) and brother Jim (Pam, Tim, Courtney, Emma, Timmy, Grace, Kayle and Jimmy) and many friends in the St. Louis and surrounding areas. He loved to fish, hunt and be with his grandchildren. We take great joy in knowing that he will be fishing with the sun on his face looking over us until we see him again.

Upon hearing this loss I was deeply sadden. I was a very close friend to Bobby is high school (Roosevelt). I went into the Army and lost contact with him. My dad and I loved Bobby very much and I have been trying to contact him for a very long time. Now, I will never have the chance to say hi and give him a big hug. I am so sorry for your loss. I have and will always miss him.

Bob Keys was my good friend, I had left the area, only to find out Bob passed just a few years ago. some of my best memories in life, were with Bob, just hanging out and of course our many fishing experiences.
Terrible to find this out . If you’re out there Bob. casting a line … I’ll catch up with you later. your friend Ken.
