Ronald R. Teare of New Port Richey, Florida, passed in peace on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the age of 80.

Ron was born on December 17, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Cora and Gerald Teare. He attended Ferguson High School, received a bachelor’s degree in Christianity and Sociology from Southwest Baptist University, and was an ordained minister. Ron was pastor at Taylorville Southern Baptist Church for seven years and faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. He was also a photogrammetric engineer and retired from Sanborn Map Company.

Ron married Bonnie G. Anderson on September 3, 1960 and spent over 60 glorious years with her. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking road trips with his wife, and working on carpentry projects.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Teare, their four children and spouses, Veronica (Teare) and Jess Shapiro, Laurie (Teare) and Jeff Ihlenfield, Andrew and Wendy Teare, and Christy (Teare) and Chris Mutert, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Ron was the older brother of Susan Schopp (Teare) and step-brother to Toni Thornton (deceased), Else Cronin, Donald J. Sullivan, and Patrick Sullivan.
